About FurnaceBusiness.ca

FurnaceBusiness.ca helps furnace and heating companies run their sales and operations on written systems. Behind it sits the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, based in Vancouver, BC, with Ali Sedighi, MBA, in charge.

Written by Ali Sedighi, MBALast updated:

FurnaceBusiness.ca is a Canadian consulting service that helps furnace and heating companies sell, schedule and keep more of the work their marketing already brings in. We focus on the routines inside the business: the comfort-advisor visit, the option sheet, memberships, dispatch, quote follow-up and the owner's weekly numbers. We are a marketing and business consulting service, not a heating contractor; we never install, repair or service equipment, and technical decisions always stay with your licensed staff.

Who we are

FurnaceBusiness.ca belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. That group is Canadian, keeps its headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia, and takes on furnace shops from coast to coast.

Sedighi.ca is the consulting company Ali Sedighi runs for growth, marketing and technology work, and HVAC.Agency is one of its brands, alongside HVAC.Digital, Trades.Agency, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca. The other half of the group's name, SAZ.ca (Strategy & Acceleration Zone), is a Canadian consulting firm covering strategy, AI and revenue acceleration, with Ali as Founder & Managing Partner. FurnaceBusiness.ca sits in the HVAC.Agency family, so our marketing plans and prices follow HVAC.Agency's.

Ali Sedighi, MBA

Ali Sedighi leads the work on this site. His degree is an MBA in Technology Management. His working life in marketing goes back 17+ years, to 2007, the year he set up ONE.ir as a full-service digital marketing agency. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Since then he has started Conv.ca, an agency for conversion-rate optimisation, and MyAutomation.ca. His client list spans Canada, the USA and Dubai. In heating specifically, his teams have put 150+ HVAC websites live; CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca, RomaHeating.ca and CanroHeat.ca are four of them.

That background shapes how we approach a furnace shop. Conversion work teaches you to look at every step between a visitor and a sale; automation work teaches you to write a process down so it runs without the person who invented it. A furnace company's sales and dispatch routines are the same kind of problem, played out on a phone line and at a kitchen table.

Why a sales-and-operations focus

Marketing can fill a calendar, but it cannot fix what happens after the phone rings. In our HVAC marketing work we kept seeing the same pattern: when leads went up, some companies grew and others just got busier. The difference was rarely the advertising. It was whether calls were answered, whether advisors presented clear options, whether quotes were followed up and whether members were visited.

So this site is about those systems. The services page lists the six we build, and the guides explain the methods so you can use them whether or not you hire us.

How we work

We work in a way a busy owner can live with during the season:

  • One system at a time. We pick the biggest leak first and finish it before starting the next.
  • Written, not verbal. Every recommendation comes in writing, and every process we build is written down for your team.
  • Built with your people. Advisors, dispatchers and office staff test the drafts; we revise based on what they find.
  • Measured. Each system has a number, tracked weekly on the owner's scoreboard.
  • Honest scope. Systems work is quoted in writing before it starts. We do not promise rankings, lead counts or close rates.

Meetings happen wherever suits the owner: in person at your shop or office, or online by video call, with phone, text and email in between.

What we do not do

Being clear about limits is part of doing this properly:

  • We do not install, repair, inspect or service equipment, and we do not give technical, code or permit advice.
  • We are not a lender or broker and we make no financing or lending promises.
  • We do not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.
  • We do not invent reviews, client quotes or results. Our case studies are real HVAC marketing results, shown on the results page.

To start a conversation, call, text or email; the contact page explains what to send. Prices are on the pricing page.
